I am the founder, owner & maker of Kosel Candles, Cornwall.

Kosel Candles was born from a love of creating moments of stillness in a busy world. Just as the Cornish coast invites you to pause, breathe, and reconnect, each candle is hand-poured to bring that same sense of gentle calm into your home.​

At Kosel, we believe candles are more than candles — they are small rituals, pockets of time carved out for yourself, reminders to return to your own centre. Our name reflects this philosophy: that light, scent, and simplicity have the power to transform even the briefest moment into something serene.

At Kosel Candles, every piece is crafted with care, purpose, and a deep respect for the environment. Each candle is hand-poured in small batches from my studio in the South West of Cornwall, using coconut wax to ensure a beautifully clean and even burn and silky smooth tops.

Every fragrance is created using a thoughtful combination of essential oils and clean fragrance oils, resulting in scents that are rich, comforting, and consciously formulated.

Sustainability is at the heart of the brand. I take great care to minimise waste wherever possible — from choosing eco-friendly Flexi-Hex protective sleeves, to reusing boxes and packaging, and continually reviewing processes to reduce our carbon footprint.

These decisions reflect a genuine commitment to building a business responsibly while offering products that feel special, considered, and timeless.
